Upgrade your operating system

Mac OS 10.6.8 was just released today, and since you’ve gotten your computers, a number of other system applications like iTunes have been updated. Your computer should be checking for updates periodically and asking if you want to install them, but it wouldn’t be bad idea to go ahead and go to the apple in the menu bar and select Software Update. This will force the computer to check for updates, and then prompt you to install them (you’ll need to enter your password in order to complete the process).

This is a great chance to see just how easy it is to keep your mac up-to-date.
